"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
— John 3:16 (NIV)
30 days of love verses is a free printable: one passage a day for a month, with a short reflection and a one-line prayer. A free love verse printable is that same file. It is not a study of every verse about love, and it is not a list you have to keep on a screen. You can download it, print it, and keep it beside a Bible.

The printable quotes the World English Bible, which is in the public domain, so you can print the file and pass it on. The articles on this site quote the NIV. Each day in the PDF is a verse reference, a short line, one or two sentences of reflection, and a prayer prompt. The themes are God's love, love for a neighbor, love in marriage, forgiveness, and steadfast love. The reflections stay with what the verse says.
If you want a verse by email as well, the signup on this page takes an email address. The daily email is not sending yet. The printable is on the screen as soon as you sign up, and the download link above works without waiting for a message.

How to use the thirty days
Read one day when you can sit still. Read the verse in your own Bible if you have one nearby. The line in the printable is there so the page still makes sense when the Bible is in another room. The reflection is a sentence or two, not a sermon. The prayer is one line you can say as it is written, or say in your own words.
You do not have to start on the first of a month. Day 1 is John 3:16. Day 30 is 1 Corinthians 16:14: let all that you do be done in love. The days between move from the love God has shown, to the love he tells his people to practice, to the love that forgives and stays.
What is in the printable
The first days stay with God's love. John 3:16, 1 John 4:8, and Romans 5:8 say that God loved by giving his Son, that God is love, and that Christ died for us while we were still sinners. Romans 8:38-39 says nothing in creation can separate people in Christ from that love. 1 John 4:18 says perfect love casts out fear. Lamentations 3:22-23, Psalm 136:1, Psalm 103:8, and Psalm 36:5 speak of loving kindness that holds, morning by morning, and reaches farther than the sky.
The next days turn toward the command. Deuteronomy 6:5 says to love the LORD with all your heart, soul, and might. Matthew 22:39 says to love your neighbor as yourself. John 13:34 tells the disciples to love one another as Jesus loved them. Matthew 5:44 says to love enemies. 1 John 3:18 says love belongs in deed and truth, not in talk alone. John 15:13 says the greater love lays a life down for friends.
1 Corinthians 13:4, 1 Corinthians 13:5, 1 Corinthians 13:6, 1 Corinthians 13:7, and 1 Corinthians 13:13 are the portrait of love that is patient and kind, that does not keep score of wrongs, that rejoices with the truth, and that remains when faith and hope are named beside it.
Marriage and the life of the church are Ephesians 5:25, Ephesians 5:2, and Colossians 3:14. Husbands are told to love their wives as Christ loved the church. The church is told to walk in love, and love is what binds the other virtues together. Ruth 1:16 is in the set as a promise to stay, spoken by Ruth to Naomi. It is not a wedding vow in the story. People read it when love means going and remaining.
Forgiveness is 1 Peter 4:8, Colossians 3:13, Ephesians 4:32, and Matthew 18:22. Love covers a multitude of sins. Believers forgive as Christ forgave. Peter is told that seven times is not the limit. Day 29 is 1 John 4:19: we love because he first loved us. Day 30 sends the reader back into ordinary work with 1 Corinthians 16:14.
A grouped list of love verses, beyond these thirty days, is Bible verses about love. The question those verses answer is What does the Bible say about love. Love inside a marriage, beyond the one verse for husbands, is Love and marriage. Forgiveness as its own study is Love and forgiveness. Love for the person next to you is Love and neighbors.
