"So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt." But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?" And God said, "I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain." Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?" God said to Moses, "I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I am has sent me to you.'" … Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." Then the Lord said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground." … Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, who did all those signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land. For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.""

Related lists: Bible verses about obedience, Bible verses about leadership, Bible verses about deliverance, Bible verses about faith, Bible verses about trust, Bible verses about prayer, Bible verses about Elijah, Bible verses about Elisha, Bible verses about Joshua, Bible verses about Jesus, Bible verses about Christ, and Bible verse of the day. Word study (lead theme). In Hebrew, מֹשֶׁה Mosheh (Strong's H4872; Bible Hub H4872) — Moses ("drawn out"). This list tracks that Moses inventory — not obedience-alone twelve or leadership-alone twelve.
Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary on Exodus 3 presses Moses at the bush when God reveals "I AM WHO I AM" and sends him to Pharaoh (Bible Hub MHC Exodus 3; Blue Letter Bible, Matthew Henry on Exodus 3). (Obedience, leadership, and deliverance pages live elsewhere; this list centers Moses.)

Who was Moses in the Bible?
Moses was drawn out of the water. Pharaoh's daughter took him as her son and named him Moses, saying she drew him out of the water (Exodus 2:10).
God called him at the burning bush. The bush burned and was not consumed, and the Lord sent Moses to Pharaoh to bring Israel out of Egypt, saying, "I will be with you" (Exodus 3:2-4, 10-12).
Moses led Israel out of Egypt and through the sea. He told the people to stand firm, then stretched out his hand so they went through the sea on dry ground (Exodus 14:13-16, 21-22). At Sinai he received the law. The Lord spoke to him face to face, as one speaks to a friend (Exodus 33:11).
Numbers 12:3 calls him the meekest man. Deuteronomy 34:10 says no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face. He is seen with Jesus at the Transfiguration (Matthew 17:3). Hebrews 11:24-27 sets out the faith of Moses.
