This page is a numbered list of fifteen passages with the NIV text and a short note on each. Related gratitude pages (thankfulness as response, not the same as the gift itself): Love and gratitude and Bible verses about gratitude. Blessings here means God's gifted favor — distinct from the thanksgiving focus in Bible verses about gratitude.
Word study (lead theme). In Ephesians 1:3 Paul names Greek εὐλογία eulogia (Strong's G2129) — blessing / praise / benefit spoken or bestowed. See also Bible Hub G2129. In the Hebrew Scriptures the verb בָּרַךְ barak (Strong's H1288; Bible Hub H1288) often means to kneel and to bless — God blessing people, and people blessing God's name.
Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary on Ephesians 1:3-8 presses that these gifts are not small comforts: "Spiritual and heavenly blessings are the best blessings; with which we cannot be miserable, and without which we cannot but be so" (Bible Hub commentaries on Ephesians 1:3; fuller MHC on the chapter at Bible Hub MHC Ephesians 1 and Blue Letter Bible, Matthew Henry on Ephesians 1).

Questions people ask
What is a good Bible verse about blessings?
Ephesians 1:3 is a strong starting place: every spiritual blessing is already located in Christ. Numbers 6:24-26 is the classic spoken blessing of God's face and peace.
What does the Bible say about blessings?
Scripture treats blessing as God's favor — spiritual riches in Christ, covenant kindness, and mercies that overflow into praise and generosity. It is not only money or ease; Jesus blesses the poor in spirit and those who mourn (Matthew 5).
What is the difference between blessings and gratitude?
Blessings are what God gives; gratitude is how we answer. For the thanksgiving angle, see Bible verses about gratitude. This page stays on the gift and the Giver.
Are spiritual blessings different from material ones?
Ephesians 1:3 names blessings "in the heavenly realms… in Christ." Material provision matters (Philippians 4:19), but Paul puts the best blessings in the spiritual and heavenly category — Henry's line that without them we cannot but be miserable.
How should I pray for blessing?
Pray like Psalm 67:1 — for God's face and grace — and like Ephesians 1:3, thanking God for what is already yours in Christ. Then let blessing move outward (Genesis 12:2-3).
